God is looking for people with hearts that are open to His Way. So why do we concentrate so heavily on our mind, will and emotions? If only our heart (love) and soul survive, it would seem prudent to invest more time cultivating these aspects of our life rather than focusing so much on our bodies, emotions and other temporal things. Your soul connected to God through His Spirit and your heart will last into Eternity once your mind and body are gone. To rely on anything else is foolish, but it will all one day fail. The only thing that is left is your soul connected to God through your heart. Even your own body will at some point fail. Reliance on anything other than God will let you down. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart He is mine forever. Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. How many have not only succumbed to a heart broken physically, but one broken emotionally and spiritually as well. But if my heart breaks, I will surely die. If my body loses strength, there are crutches. If my soul is distraught, the world will comfort me. If my mind begins to wander, I can still survive. All these aspects of commitment are involved, all must be conceded to live a successful life. Choosing Jesus Christ is a mind, soul, body AND heart choice. Above all, if your heart is not in it – it is all for naught. If your walk with the Lord only relies on His Spirit choosing to ignore the intellect of His Word and commitment to His Service, then you will not achieve a holy life. If it is a physical response, you will fail. If choosing the Lord is simply an intellectual decision, it will not produce the fruit of righteousness. However, His Power is manifested in weakness and humility as we submit every aspect of our life to God. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, He lives inside of you. “Now is the time to seek the Lord.” You will not have to look far. Without such a commitment, believers are filled with potential locked in a prison never to be released until one decides to open the door to their heart once and for all. It is an intimate connection derived from total submission to the Lord. A love affair with God will be intertwined with the heart, mind, soul and body. The Spirit of the Living God lives within the heart of a believer, however if their heart is cold and disconnected from God it binds the Lord’s ability to be manifested in the life of His Own. Seeds of righteousness cannot be planted there and love will not be harvested from such a place. It would also be safe to say that a heart must be connected to one’s soul to experience such a change when encountering God. A heart that is hard, cold or not beating cannot experience such a sensation nor will one recognize a change if their heart is in acute arrhythmia and never beating consistently to begin with. A palpitate means to pulsate, quiver, throb and/or tremble. It would be safe to assume that the heart, mind, body and soul are all intricately connected by God’s Superior Creation Plan. Heart palpitations can be emotion responses not subject to an actual physical cause. Many things can cause slight and temporary arrhythmia like anxiety, fear, medication, caffeine, fever, hyperventilation and even love. The change in one’s heart can affect the entire body. With a heart palpitation, there may be other symptoms within the body such as shortness of breath, flushing and perspiration. Most of the time these symptoms are benign and quickly resolve as the heart resumes beating at its normal rate. It happens when people are startled or there is a physiological change in their body. Heart palpitations are a form of arrhythmia when the heart ventures off course from its normal pattern of heartbeats. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts for now is the time to seek the Lord that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’” “I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness and you will harvest a crop of love.
